Founder & CEO
For over 18 years, my family and I have called Loudoun County, VA, home. This community holds a special place in my heart, and I love giving back through volunteer work.
In 2020, I found myself deeply immersed in the nonprofit world, chasing a dream that no longer felt like mine. That’s when it hit me—I was a small-town girl with big dreams, ready to create something that truly aligned with my passions. So, I took a leap of faith, crafted my business plan, left my job, and launched DJK Marketing Solutions.
With over 20 years of experience in marketing and events, I bring a deep passion for helping small businesses and nonprofits uncover their unique voice online. My mission is to provide the tools and support you need to connect with your ideal audience, so you can focus on what matters most—whether that’s growing your business, spending time with family, or simply enjoying life.
Starting DJK Marketing Solutions was about more than just building a business; it was about honoring the entrepreneurial spirit I inherited from my family. Marketing Manager & Engagement Specialist
Meet Kathleen, the Director of Engagement at DJK Marketing Solutions. She lives with her husband, three kids, two dogs, and a snake in Purcellville. Originally from Michigan (Go Blue!), Kathleen and her family made a quick stop in Texas for five years before finding their home in Virginia. She loves to travel, bake, play games with her family, run, bike, and relax by the pool listening to Jimmy Buffet.
Kathleen loves social media and engagement because it allows her to connect with people, build genuine relationships, and create meaningful interactions. She’s passionate about bringing communities together and making every brand she works with feel approachable, relatable, and engaging.
Fun fact: she’s never had a cup of coffee, but if you know her, you’ll quickly realize she doesn’t need one!
